I'm Jim Currie, weight-loss coach and fitness trainer

Just like you, I've had weight-loss and fitness issues in my life. I've overcome those and I'm living life to the full. I can show you how to do it too.

Maybe like me, you are worried that you have left it a little too late to make changes. You haven't. The right time is now.

My own weight loss is a major factor in the services that I now deliver, but it is far from the only thing. I never take the glib approach of "if I can do it, so can you" I worked hard for my weight loss and fitness and you will have to do that too.

Throughout my own weight loss and afterwards, I studied widely and this is reflected in the services that I now deliver. I have gone on to add a number of relevant qualifications

I have the tools that will assist you to meet your goals. That may be by picking up snippets from my blog, taking part in one of my video programs or joining me for some 1-1 coaching support.

What is Wellness?

The Global Wellness Institute defines "wellness" as 

the active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health.
 

At “Explore Wellness” we possess many of the tools that you require to begin your journey to wellness.

Physical wellness is a key component of holistic health and can assist in stimulating wellness in other areas of your life.

Knowledge is power

Many people fail at things because they don't have the necessary knowledge to succeed. You feel that knowledge is held by few people and you can't access it.

Does that apply to weight loss? Well "Yes" and "No". People do indeed fail due to lack of knowledge, but not because it doesn't exist. Instead it is because it is hidden amongst a lot of other information which is just unhelpful. Everywhere you turn there is someone with diet information. There is information all around and much of it is just nonsense.

I'm sure like me, you have tried many diets. Did you lose weight? I certainly did, but once again in my fifties, I found that I weighed more than ever. Many of the diets that I tried worked for a short time.......until I regained the weight.

The reason for this is that diets are short-term fixes. They are not a lifestyle that you can maintain for a longer period of time.

If you choose to work with me, you have been "on a diet" for the last time. Instead, like me you will learn "sustainable weight loss" and go on to live a long and full life, free from the health-based restrictions that have held you back.
